With Redroc leading the design of an image-rich site, White Lion focused on generating a responsive website that could deliver the same exceptional user experience for desktop, tablet, and mobile users. Whether users are reviewing their favorite mower or comparing features across models, all the information is at their fingertips to find the right Hustler® mower for their needs.

Powerful Web Development Tools

Given the desire for unique features and future scalability, White Lion choose an open-source Laravel framework to develop the site. The custom back-end content management system (CMS) tools allow content owners to create and edit mowers, an extensive list of specifications, SEO keywords, and financing options. The CMS also provides preview functionality, permission controls, and landing page generation all while maintaining a strict style guide to ensure the website adheres to design standards as it grows.

Finding a Way to Connect Dealers to Customers

Additionally, White Lion integrated a Salesforce API to simplify the management of the vast network of Hustler® authorized dealers. The dealer locator provides a guided search to filter results by country, zip code, product line, and retailer type. That way customers can find the nearest dealer and know they specialize in the services needed.

Finishing Touches to Improve Performance

The front-end of the site is equally as impressive. It features Angular JavaScript-enabled transitions which enhance the user experience and Bootstrap CSS to facilitate responsive views for mobile users. Special attention was paid to optimizing page speed through the use of web fonts, extensive image optimization, and light weight svg icons. To further the cause, a Rackspace CDN augments the hosting environment. It wasn’t enough for the site to look great, it had to load fast too.

The end result: It was a great chance for us to work with Redroc Advertising who showed their creativity at every turn. And of course the folks at Hustler® got a modern and sleek website worthy of the Hustler® brand.
