Native Eyewear

Our team was fortunate to be selected for the redevelopment of the new Native Eyewear site and the custom build of a web application for warranties and repairs. We worked alongside the very talented crew at Motive (a Denver-based ad agency) who created the vision and design for the new site and the Native Eyewear marketing team. The brand that quickly carved out a reputation for high-performance eyewear now has a new high performing ecommerce site to match.

From the earliest stages of the project, we took a mobile-first strategy. Responsive design allows for this and with only one code base, updating and maintenance of the site are cost effective and quick.

For fans and customers, the new site features a custom ecommerce system with a one-page checkout cart to maximize conversions, and a custom web application to process repairs and warranty issues. We’ve also added a ‘notify me’ feature that can automatically send the user an email once an out-of-stock item is back in stock.

For Native Eyewear staff and content managers, the site has built-in admin tools to make updating and editing content quick and painless. Because the site is rich with images and product photography, White Lion reinvented the way that imagery can be batch uploaded and associated to items with just one click – saving loads of time and headaches.

We’ve also integrated the new site with web-services to keep the products, customers, orders and stock levels in sync with Native’s ERP systems. Additionally, the site taps into shipping providers’ web-services to provide customers with real-time shipping rates during checkout.

The new site has been transformative for the brand and for sales. All major KPI’s look great! Site traffic is way up, load time is super-fast and Native is selling more glasses online. In fact, 2014’s holiday sales were up 100% (as compared to 2013).
